This episode 3 Ichiro is visited by Gran’ma Yoshikawa’s ghost. She had passed away that morning, and her spirit came by to asked Ichiro to take care of Chiro’s pup, since it was all alone now. Ichiro is perturbed by the fact that he’s visited from yet another ghost and refused to help her. Well Gran’ma Yoshikawa has a trick in her bag to make Ichiro handle her request: She’s lets down her hair, and tries to scare him into submission! Ha!

Hee-hee… so funny! At breakfast with the family, Ichiro tried telling them that Yoshikawa-san had died and that she had the request for him to take in the puppy and they did not believe him until a neighbor comes by and lets them know of her passing. It kinda freaks them out and Ichiro has the pleasure of telling them, “I told you so!”
The day of her funeral, everyone wants to know who was going to take the pup in; Ichiro’s father stated that they would take the pup in. A neighbor jokingly states that the dog would not last a day around Ichiro and another says that the family was poor and that the pup would make them poorer. These statements makes Hanada-san more adamant about taking in the pup. While at home, Ichiro is unaware that they would be getting the pup, is still refusing Gran’ma Yoshikawa, who scares him again. LOL! Ichiro finally submits. He’s had enough of being scared out of his wits! When the family comes home, Hanada-san (drunk as he was) tells Ichiro to go to Yoshikawa-san’s house in the morning to pick up the pup and it was going to live with them and it’s name was going to be “Jiro.”

The next day, Ichiro and Souta-kun goes to Yoshikawa’s house to picked the pup up. Yoshikawa-san neighbor tells the boys that a relative took the pup away. The relative took the puppy to the Animal Health Care clinic, where the idiots who worked there, put the pup in a cell with adult dogs. The dogs are frightening the puppy. Back at home in the outhouse, Ichiro is taking a crap or #2 and Yoshikawa-san is telling him that the pup is at the health clinic. Ichiro is annoyed that she is bothering him while he is taking a dump. Yoshikawa-san tells Ichiro that he must hurry because if he doesn’t the pub will be put to sleep by a injection and Ichiro becomes scare of the fact that she said injection and flatly refuses her. Back at the clinic, one of the dogs is about to pounce on the puppy when Chiro’s spirit appears and prevents her pup from being attacked. The workers at the clinic rushes to the cell and realizes that the pup is being antagonized by the older dogs and was going to move it another cell, when Chiro takes the pup and whisked it away. Back at the outhouse, Souta is waiting for Ichiro to come out, and inside Yoishikawa had transformed back into a scary ghost. Ichiro is being stubborn and she resorts to taking Ichiro to the health clinic where she drops him off in the cell with the dogs. A stunned Ichiro is having a fit! The same dog that tried to attack the pup, was about to jumped on Ichiro. The workers rushes back to the cell to find the dog and Ichiro wrestling on the floor. They take Ichiro to the office and Ichiro tells them that he was looking for the pup. The workers give Ichiro a course on how to take care of a puppy. On his way home, Yoshikawa’s spirit appears and apologizes to Ichiro. Ichiro’s mother meets him on the way home and is scolding him for disappearing out of the Outhouse and worrying Souta-kun, who was crying. Souta notices the pup standing by Ichiro’s feet and was glad that Ichiro find it.

So… pup Jiro is acclimated into the family. Yoshikawa and Chiro’s spirits both hang around for a bit to keep an eye on Ichiro and how he’s treating the puppy. Hanada-san makes a bed out of the broken television for Jiro and a ‘waste-tray’ out of a cracker tin box. Ichiro had to “go” later that night and was afraid because he tells Jiro that he would see Yoshikawa-san’s scary face. So you know what he did… LOL! The next morning, Ichiro flat-out denied that it was him who made a crap in Jiro’s waste-tray. Grandpa Hanada stated that he could tell if it was human waste or the puppy’s waste. A scared Ichiro blurts out that it was Yoshikawa’s spirit at fault, bumps into his grandfather as he rushes out of the house and poor Grandpa Hanada gets his face smashed with crap! O.O
End of episode.

Another good episode. Perhaps as the series goes on, Ichiro and his badness will mellow out! Such a funny kid! LOL
