Small chit-type on Aoi Bungaku!
Man, I hope this gets picked up by a FanSub Group!
This early, and I do mean early wee-morning, couldn’t sleep and decided to add some pages to Tha BakaPedia. Okay… so… as you all probably know, that Aoi Bungaku premiere in Japan October 10th.
What can I say about this series… it was quite interesting! Now mind you, I only had a RAW copy to make my screenshots from. While I’m making them, I didn’t have a clue what was being said, other than the small words or phrases. o.o
The series is based upon adaptations of six modern classics of Japanese literature: Osamu Dazai’s No Longer Human (Ningen Shikkaku) & Run, Melos! (Hashire, Melos!), Natsume Soseki’s Kokoro, Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s Hell Screen (Jigoku Hen) & The Spider’s Thread (Kumo no Ito), and Ango Sakaguchi’s In the Forest, Under Cherries in Full Bloom (Sakura no Mori no Mankai no Shita).
Truth be told, I really don’t know which story the series has started off with! LOL
So why am I blogging on it?
Simple: The scenes and the artistry of the first episode was awesome. It reminds me of the softness of:
- Kurozuka
- Himitsu no Revelation
- and a touch of Casshern Sins
Such the sucker for a well-made Series. Beautiful… the colors were so lush and rich. And from what I visualized as the episode went on, the storyline looked pretty good. Really felt like a big kid that tattled-tale on somebody… -_-
Since this has not come out in a sub copy yet, I will not give an First Lookie Review on this, nor shall I drop in any screenshots. Would be totally unfair to the AniLovers out there who’s waiting for a sub copy just like I am! >=) You know I’m cracking up laughing right? Even if I were to give a first lookie, it would be a picture blog ‘cuz I’m not that silly to give a full article blog as I didn’t understand just about everything that was said. Would so be an incomprehensible post! <— won’t be getting the ‘proper english’ comments for this! Ha!
Gomen… it’s just that I’ve waited for this series to come out. It appealed to me back then, and I’m soooooooooooo not disappointed in it now. So looking forward to it.
But I do recommend that when a sub copy do come out, it deserves a first lookie.
So there!!! didn’t give nothing away.
However…
Don’t go poking or peeping your eyes at Tha BakaPedia looking for the page. K? [Onegai!!!] Don’t wanna have to deal with any comments blasting me for making the page to begin with. LOL
That’s it in a nutshell,
Laters!

Thinking my new Spam Guard is working waaaayyyyy better than I expected! LOL!

I want to watch Aoi Bungaku too once it gets subbed. I read “No Longer Human” and “Kokoro” in my Japanese literature classes =)
[...] Crazyanimegirl didn’t even know what was going on and was still impressed! That’s how you know it’s good! She later watched the sub and was just as impressed. [...]
