Kanamemo Ep. 4

Experiencing the “Musical” of Episode 4…  Those tunes were quite catchy!  O.O

 Okay!  Playing ‘catch-up’ with watching episodes and blogging on them, I finally sitting down long enough to do so.  After viewing and blogging on Needless Ep. 6, Kanamemo Ep. 4 was up next…

What…a…riot!

Didn’t expect the whole episode to turn out to be a musical.  Had me cracking up!   All started with giving the customers coupons, which some of the girls — Haruka [taking the alcohol coupons] and Hina [selling them!].  Since the Girls couldn’t be trusted to give the coupons out, Dairi decided to give them out herself.  Yume has a coupon to Waterworld and Kana comments on how the water rides were nice because she saw them on a commercial.  The girls get it in their heads that they should all take a trip to Waterworld.  They spring up a plan to go shopping for bathing suits, dragging Kana along with them.  Yume buys Kana a bathing suit and when they get back, Dairi is having a fit that they’re late on delivery.   The girls tell her that they were out buying the suits and that they all should go to Waterworld.  Dairi agrees provided that they go on their days off, to which all of them have different days.    Thus, Dairi is a demon boss!  Ha!

Determine to wear the suits, the girls go on their routes with the suits on, causing such a rukus.  Poor Kana being totally embarass about wearing the bathing suit.   However, it brought in more subscriptions!  Dairi sees this and she rewards the girls with a backyard pool.  The day ends with everyone happy, content, that those bathing suit got used!

The comedy and hijinks of this series is laughable.   Haven’t seen the latest episodes yet, so I’m going to have to do some spoiler dodging until I do.  Besides episode 1 being my favorite, I have to say this musical episode 4 has become a favorite too!  So, it will be in my special “Gotta laugh because I had a bad day” folder.  Hey… when I need a quick laugh, or a good one, I turn to Anime… and the world is alright with me again!

Funimation has newly acquired Casshern Sins and Higashi no Eden

  Now, I’m sitting here this morning having a cup of coffee-chan when [in all my crazyiness] the wheels my ”Imagination” begin turning…  In an alternate Universe, where all things are possible,

I think I should be able to go to Funimation and acquired a boyfriend!

That’s right!  March right up to Funimation Headquarters, have all the male populace line up and I should be able to acquire one of their male employees — if not the big guy in charge himself!  LOL  He could be on the geeky side, that’s fine; provided that he can and knows anime and manga talk!  I mean, what good would he be if he doesn’t know those two things!   Ahhh… the imagination is a good thing when you utilize it!

After being acquired  by me, he have to carry around his I was Aquired card that states:

I’ve been acquired by Crazyanimegyrl.  All rights — meaning my ass belongs to her.  And if he’s approached by another female, my Legal Team would miraculousy appear and tell that Chick:

The said Guy that you are trying to talk to, has been officially aquired by Crazyanimegyrl.  If you don’t want any Legal action pinned to you, we suggest that you walk away… quickly!        If not, then we’ll give you one of our “deathly harm to your health” Cease and Desist Letters.  We thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

That would be sooooooo cool!  And if I go to parties or some type of Social Gathering, I could say:

Hi, this is __________ and I acquired him from Funimation.  Isn’t that  Greaaattt??? 

Ahhhh… the possibilities are endless.  Hey why not?  Like I said;  in an alternate universe where the possibilites are endless, I should  equally  be able to go to Funimation and do some aquiring  of my own!       

And I think I’m done now.

Kodomo no Jikan Second Term

Now, I’ve never seen Season one, or any OVAs before Second Term 1.  And I have to tell ya…

it FLOORED ME!

 LOL!  Talk about Lolicon to the max!   One of my online buddies sent me the episode and then told me to email him directly afterwards.  So, I’m watching it, and I’m saying to myself, oh how cute… little girl up in a tree and her Sensei is trying to get her down…  Ummm, no.  Because what that little chick said and what happened some seconds afterwards had me screaming,

  ACK!!!!! WHAT THE F*CK???????????

I literally had to go back some seconds to make sure what I was seeing, I WAS ACTUALLY SEEING!  And if you saw Second Term 1 then you know what I’m talking about!  LMAO!  I could not believe what I was seeing.  Hop on IM and asked my buddy, WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SEND ME?!?

O…M…G… totally floored!  And just when I thought it was safe for me to continue watching, oh no…  Little chick tries to wake up her guardian in the most ‘unconventional’ way… although I really would like to think, it was an accident though… 

Next, her little bootie shorts that was soooooooooooo not covering!  And my soul,  my soul was at war whether to keep  laughing, or run for cover!  Guardian tries to cover her butt with his hand as they’re walking to school, he gets call a “Child Molester” and he’s screaming to get ‘em and the cops were coming after him!  LOL  Gets to the school and she, Rin meets the teacher she likes antagonizing…  Aoki-sensei.  Now, I just could not stop watching this epiosde!  I should had… no really.  The two men (guardian and teacher) made it seem like they were in a competition for this child’s affection in the wrong way.  I seriously could not stop watching this.

Well I should had!

Rin appoints herself as class representative, Aoki-sensei is on the happy side because he thought she had calm down since she was now in the 4th grade. 

Welllllllllll…. not quite.

Kiddies are in a cooking class about to learn how to cook a dish when Rin announced that whatever cooks the best dish, the teach was going to buy them ice cream.  So… what happen next spurred me into an emotional ride:

SHOCK/HYSTERICALLY LAUGHING/SHOCK SOME MORE/ COULD NOT LOOK AWAY BECAUSE IT WAS FUNNY TO BE QUITE HONEST/AFRAID FOR MY SOUL… scene:

  Enough…. onegai no more.  Some funny ____________.

Ummm… what more is there to say.  A little nymphet who’s got a thing for her teacher, her friends who more or less encourages it, and I think I’m done now.

Would I recommend this?  I’ll let you know when I go find my soul which is hiding from me right now.  I guess if I saw a couple of episodes from the first season, I could wrap myself around it.  I was told that it had all her crazy antics, and that this episode 1 of the second term was on the mellow side.  Don’t know how much that is true, but I’m not threading there.  Nope.  Not at all.  For what it was worth, the episode was funny.  I got plenty of laughs out of it, but at the same time… whoa.

*Sigh*  Gotta love your buddies… right?

  If I had to give a “Anime Choice Awards“  for the best scene, it would be:

from Skip Beat! Episode 18: Kyoko of Destiny!

I laughed my arse off!  This was so funny and a teenie bit unexpected that it made the scene downright hilarious.  The second time around was even funnier because after the ‘laugh’ shock of the first time around, one could dive into laughter whole heartedly.

This series has got to be the best “Girl gets Revenge” I’ve seen to date.  After coming off that gaud-awful Itazura na kiss from last year, this was like a breath of fresh air!  Yes!!! Revenge can be oh-so-sweet.

So if you had a pick, what would be your best scene?
