After weeks of working non-stop to slave to the “Food gotta be brought, bills gotta be paid” rat-race, I decided to to get off the Ferris Wheel and to all that got their hand out for some dough, here’s what I’m giving them:

Anyhoo, now that’s out of my system, I’m claiming this weekend to myself, Anime, Manga and WEBBING!!!!!

I not even going to cry the blues about being behind in this, or being behind in that… I’m just gonna move forward!    So far, after taking my other site [Tha Bakapedia]  out of Hiatus, my Minion and I have been adding some pages on the Summer 2010 Releases.  LOL… we have bypass the Spring releases for the moment.  Those pages will go up as well, plus other webbing crap that I oh-so-love to do.  Ha!

Well, I have to say thus far there are only two series of the summer’s releases that I’m gravitating to: High School of the Dead and Shiki.  I liked the first episode of HS of the Dead.  Now I’m waiting patiently for Shiki to debut!   

So this weekend, I’m going to get re-acquainted with my old friend, my Coffee IV, and get some webbing done and some “first lookies” done!

So excited… of course that was just a facetious-me statement.  Ha!

FBI Shuts Down Comics Scan Site

Apparently, the FBI has served a warrant to the owner of the comic scan website HTMLcomics.com, shut down the website, and confiscated its servers over alleged criminal copyright infringement.  The site was serving up copies of Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, The Simpsons, Futurama, Avengers, Incredible Hulk, Wolverine, Dilbert, Peanuts, Catwoman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Hellboy, Star Wars, 300, Predator, The Mask, Iron Man and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

So, like I’m waiting for my Minion to get a break from Uni, and come off from vacation after Uni, [Uni=University] so that we can both seriously bring the Bakapedia site back online.  It’s on Hiatus.  Capturing screenies is gonna be a bytch!   because there’s numerous screenies to do.  Already started the process, but it’s slow going because I stop in the middle at times just to watch the episodes! O.O  LOL

Is anybody else watching Winter Sonata too?  I marathoned episodes 15-18 yesterday morning before I left for work and it’s starting to get really good!  Not to add any spoilers,  it just got me wondering…

Who exactly is Joonsang’s father?!

I’m thinking it’s the Professor (Sang Hyuk’s father).  But I could be wrong since I haven’t seen the live action series/movie.  But there was something about episode 18 that have me feeling that way.  I’m loving the series nonetheless and pretty soon hopefully, I’ll be blogging on it.  Hey, series no  matter when they came out, deserves to be blogged on.

Was reading Ghost Talker’s Daydream  and found out it was made into an ova series! o_0  Seen it, and it was pretty good.

Oh yea… gotta buy another external hard drive!  Since Manga sites are now pulling their mature content manga scans,  gotta start housing the manga that I’m now reading!  If only licensed manga in the US were popping out like the speed of light… but volumes are being produced at a slow rate.  Hey, they can have all my money, because I love buying books and manga and having them nicely set on my bookshelves in chronological order!   

Makes me feel important.  Ha! 

Ah… parting is such sweet sorrow… because this blah… blah… blah post is coming to an end.    Dramatic… aren’t I?

Arigato Zorori-Project Fansub for picking up

Shiawase Sou no Okojo-san!

 you have no idea how happy this makes me… after waiting for almost 2 years for a fansub to pick this series back up, I’m totally overwhelmed with joy!  To know that more subbed episodes are coming out and I can move past episode 3,  [chokin’ back tears of joy, that I couldn’t finish this sentence]

Sniff… sniff… it’s the little things in life that has the greatest impact at times…

Okay enough of that; moving right along! [Yuk, yuk, yuk! ]

Dance in the Vampire Bund is surprisingly  good.  Just watched episode 7 and I liked the way the flow of the story went.  The roaming scenes at times remind me of Bakemonogatari and Sayonara Sensei.    Looking forward to more episodes.  

Mina’s chara-change into the grown-up Mina

was – well, interesting.  I was wondering how it was going to be incorporated into the anime series.  And now I know! 

LOL did ya see episode 7 of Durarara!!  Strongest Man Alive?  Funny episode.  Poor Shizuou-san; pens himself as a guy who hates violence, but can get riled up pretty easy!  Ha!  Overall, he seems like a mellow down-to-earth kind of fellow though.

Was reading some of the posts on Animenewsnetwork.com site and I came across a couple of things that fits the topic of this blah… blah… blah… post:

Manga Relevance! 

High School of the Dead has gotten the green-lit… 

One day, you’re at school when all of a sudden you’re under an attack by Flesh-eating zombies!  One by one you witness your classmates being ripped apart and eaten and then they become zombies themselves and the epidemic spreads… O.O

A group of school kids and a ditzy nurse smart enough to avoid being attacked, escapes and make every effort to survive what is going on around them and figure out  why it’s happening and who may behind the growing chaotic mess.

—After reading the scans, and seeing the Ecchi factor in the chapters, will this soon to be anime series become an comedic ecchi horror,  or will it focus on being a action, drama-laced horror series?  Hmmmm… kinda excited about it, but also scared at the same time.  Well, just have to wait for that first episode!

Divorce Living Together Manga gets TV Drama & Sequel…

Despite a happy family life, Ryūji suddenly declares a divorce from Harumi. However, the two end up in an awkward, surreal living arrangement when they are forced to remain under one roof.

—Never heard of it before, so I’ll be on the hunt for the first chapter to download and read.  Sounds a “tiny-bit” interesting… We’ll see what happens.

Hohzuki Island scans and this manga is a psychological, horror trip!

Six children and six adults live on an remote island and nothing appeared what it seems.  The children are mysteriously dying and the adults are a crazy murdering brood…  the more I read, the more I want to know is:  why?  The unfolding story keeps me interested and anticipated chapters to be released! 

—Totally recommend this manga.

My manga reading has step up some notches because I’m not really interested in the Winter Releases saved for 3 series that I’m watching, and the ones from the Fall releases that’s currently still airing/running.  Being that episodes are released weekly, I’ve been on the hunt to find new releases of Manga that has been picked up by translators.

LOL!!!  My printer has been working overtime as I’ve been printing like a mad woman so that I can happily take these chapters on my daily outings in the “Reel World.” 

Arigato to all the scanlators!  You guys rock!
