The first episode was downright… HILARIOUS!

Up in the wee-hours working on Tha BakaPedia and I’m going through my catalog of Anime for series I haven’t made a page for, and Inukami! was one of them.    And I gotta tell ya… Ep. 1 cracked me up.  It was some funny shyt going towards the ending.

So you have this guy Keita Kawahira who is a descendent of an Inukami tamer (tamers of dog demons) clan.  His family thinks he’s a failure at it because he has to blasé attitude towards his duties.

Keita obtains a Inukami named Yuoko and things just doesn’t seem to go right between the two.  Although Keita is supposed to be the tamer, it’s the other way around.  Yoko is the one that seems to be the tamer of Keita. When he made the contract with her, he vowed that he would only be with her.  Well you see,  Keita-kun is your average hot-blooded teenager who has ecchi thoughts about other girls and love to watch and chase after them and it pisses Yoko off when he thinks about other females.  To keep him in his place, she uses her powers to (it doesn’t matter where Keita-kun can be) strip him of his clothes.

Usually this happens when Keita is out in public!  Ha!

Keita is arrested [for the seventh time] and he’s rescue by his partner, Spiritual Mission Investigator Karina Shirou with a condition that he takes on an assignment of destroying an evil spirit – a failure of a novelist named Eisawa Osui whom right before his death obtained a heretic book.  If he uses it, he could become a power overlord.  Osui-san also before his death had such a hatred for lovey-dovey couples.  Keita had to act along with Youko as a loving couple in order to defeat Osui.

  
   Shirou-san tells Keita and Youko that Osui had the ability to strip people of their clothes.  Keita takes on the job whole-heartedly because he thinks he’s going to see women stripped of their clothing… boy; is he sooooooooooo wrong! 

On the pretend date, they encountered Osui who is only (hee hee) dressed in a cape and nothing else and flashes everybody.  He squeezes his nipples [LMAO] and uses his powers that strips men of their clothing!!!  Keita is so disgusted and pissed off that he tells Youko that he’s not longer interested and she should take over.  She’s hesitant because he’s naked. 

Shirou-san decided to take matters into his own hands after an no-longer-interested Keita and hesitant Youko was not doing anything and he almost got blasted with Osui-san’s nipple [LOL] beam and runs off to hide in a corner!

After Osui-san  makes a crazy speech, Keita had enough and he himself strips down to bareness.  Oh gosh, how hilarious was that part.  In order to send Osui-san off, Keita tells Youko to compliment him on his [hahahahahhahaaaha] “you know what”, to which she does and he happily turn into an Angel and disappears.

In the end, Youko is not happy that he agreed to the fake date so that he could see stripped women and he ends up in jail again for public indecent exposure.  End of episode.

So funny!  Can’t wait to see the movie! 

So this is it for this post. 

Rating:  9.5 out of 10 because that first episode was definitely funny!
